Bivalve Wharf is located about 20 minutes from Salisbury via Nanticoke Road. A narrow fishing pier extends out into the Nanticoke River and is frequently used by locals for fishing and crabbing. Perch, pickerel, catfish, largemouth bass and rockfish (striped bass) are commonly caught in the river.
This park was funded in part by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources Program Open Space Grants.
